Stella McCartney's another collaboration with a high street giant GAP Kids after designing for H&M in 2005!
'Stella McCartney Debut Children's Collection in Collaboration With GapKids and babyGap Holiday 2009. Gap is proud to announce the debut of Stella McCartney for GapKids and babyGap. Launching in stores on 02 November 2009, Stella McCartney creates a collection for boys and girls from 0-6 months to 12 years.'
For girls, key pieces including an intarsia leopard print knit, cable knit sweater dressing and velvet suit, referencing iconic Stella McCartney designs such as classic flare, skinny jeans, oversized grey hoodie sweater or chunky cardigan coat as well as her signature colour palette of neutral, blush and berry tones.
'Fun and functional, Stella's designs for Gap boys mix monster and superhero graphic tees with practical pieces like a navy wool peacoat with nylon concealed hood or a quilted chambray jacket finished with the softest "love-worn" vintage feeling. In heather grey, sky and misty rose hues, Stella McCartney creates a range of organic cotton and cashmere/silk mix styles in simple, indispensable shapes for babyGap, from envelope neck onesies to a sweater bearing the season's leopard design. '
The collection is available in store from 10:00 on 02 November, in select GapKids and babyGap stores in the United States and Canada, the UK, France and Ireland, and Japan, as well as online in the US.
