Exciting news just in -the Fashion and Textile Museum is teaming up with the Clothes Show London to launch an exciting competition to find the new Young Accessory Designer of the Year.

Designers will be encouraged to create an accessory product which will compliment the FTM's brand values and will be sold at 'The Shop' at FTM and also on it's online boutique.

The winner will receive six months business support with industry advisors to help set up and develop their business and make it sustainable. Their winning design will also be displayed at the Clothes Show London event - a fantastic opportunity for any young budding designer. It's also a great opportunity for many start-up young designers and small brands to take a more accessible product to the next level.

All entries will be judged by Alison Lewy (FTM's Commercial Director) and Gavin Brown (Managing Director of Clothes Show London). The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Fashion Theatre in the Clothes Show London event at Earls Court on Saturday 26th June 2010.
